Why the headline price is not the invoice

Hosting companies express long contracts as a monthly equivalent so plans are easier to compare. Hostinger's current Premium offer shows US$2.99 per month, but the page also states that the customer purchases 48 months for US$143.52. The payment is not US$2.99 each month at that offer level.

The regular price and renewal are separate. Record both before checkout. A promotion can be good value while still becoming a different budget after four years.

Compare the cost over the same period for every provider. Add the first term, the following renewal term, required domain renewals, email and paid backups. Then divide by the number of years and websites you will genuinely use.

Do not assign value to unlimited websites if you will run one. Do assign value to daily backups if the site changes every day. A slightly higher plan can be cheaper than buying missing services separately, but only when those services are actually required.
