Why the headline price is not the invoice

Hosting companies express long contracts as a monthly equivalent so plans are easier to compare. Hostinger's current Premium offer shows US$2.99 per month, but the page also states that the customer purchases 48 months for US$143.52. The payment is not US$2.99 each month at that offer level.

The regular price and renewal are separate. Record both before checkout. A promotion can be good value while still becoming a different budget after four years.

Costs people forget

  • Domain renewal after any included first year.
  • Mailbox pricing after an included period ends.
  • Premium plugins or themes used by the website.
  • Developer or maintenance support.
  • Independent backup storage for important sites.
  • Card conversion charges when billing currency differs.
  • Applicable VAT or tax shown at checkout.

A better way to compare hosting

Compare the cost over the same period for every provider. Add the first term, the following renewal term, required domain renewals, email and paid backups. Then divide by the number of years and websites you will genuinely use.

Do not assign value to unlimited websites if you will run one. Do assign value to daily backups if the site changes every day. A slightly higher plan can be cheaper than buying missing services separately, but only when those services are actually required.

UAE buyer checklist

  • Confirm the billing currency and your card's conversion rate.
  • Check the final VAT or tax line before payment.
  • Verify that the invoice contains the business details you need.
  • Choose the data centre available for the plan and audience.
  • Record the domain registrant, renewal date and account owner.
  • Create a calendar reminder well before the hosting renewal.

Bottom line

Hostinger's promotional pricing can be excellent for a buyer willing to prepay. The safe decision is made from the term total and renewal, not the largest discount badge. Save a copy of the order terms and maintain a simple renewal register from the first day.

Frequently asked questions

Can I pay Hostinger monthly?

Monthly options may exist, but the lowest advertised monthly equivalent usually requires a longer prepaid term.

How much does Hostinger renew for?

The public page currently lists Premium at US$10.99 per month and Unlimited at US$16.99 per month on renewal. Confirm your own checkout and account terms.

Is a domain free forever?

No. A plan may include the first year, after which the domain renews at its current separate rate.

Which plan is best for several websites?

Compare the website allowance, storage, backups, mailboxes and fair usage terms. Unlimited may offer better multi site value, but only if its higher renewal remains reasonable for your usage.
